Stores in Malls That Are Gone Now

Three views of Burdines, a Florida-based department store, including its storefront, interior, and exterior with people...

Remember the days when we used to stroll around the mall, hopping from one store to another, basking in the atmosphere of retail therapy? Ah, the good old days, right? I came across this fantastic video, and it's got me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. It's all about old mall stores that no longer exist.

It's like a trip down memory lane, thinking back to the time we spent shopping for shoes at Florsheim Shoes. Their stylish collection and quality artistry were simply unmatched. Oh, and how can we forget Esprit? Back in the 80s, the logo was everywhere, defining an entire generation's wardrobe.

And, of course, Musicland, the chain of music stores that made our mall visits so much more harmonious. I don't know about you, but Glamor Shots always seemed like such a fun thing to do. You know, getting all glammed up and striking a pose for those iconic photos. Those were the days!

Toys R Us was like a dreamland for us kids (and let's be honest, adults too), with aisles upon aisles of Star Wars action figures, Cabbage Patch Kids, and video game systems like Atari and Nintendo. And remember shopping at Burdines, the quintessential Florida department store with its pastel colors and palm trees? How about Limited Too for the little ones in our lives?

Our mall adventures would only be complete with a trip to Dress Barn, the women's clothing retailer that catered to the working woman, or County Seat, the denim-focused store that was THE place to shop for Levi's. Lastly, who could forget Brookstone, the store that transitioned from unique tools to tech gadgets and had us all mesmerized?

Let's relive those nostalgic moments and watch this video, taking a walk down memory lane together. Share it with your friends and loved ones because we could all use a smile and a reminder of simpler times.
