A stray dog, found in the streets of Houston, Texas, was saved from the brink of death. The ill husky mix was transferred to Caitie's foster care within 24 hours. Afterward, it was sent home.
Passers-by mistook the dog for a coyote due to the advancement of its mange. Its ailment was likely one of the reasons people ignored it for a long time, Caitie explains.
The moment "Yukon" was in Caitie's care, he received a treat of unsalted meat patty. Initially, he was frightened and pitiful. He was just too tired to do anything and needed some rest.

His exhaustion was probably due to homelessness and lack of rest. Coupled with a long and tiring battle with his mange. Things changed after some days of good feeding and love.
Yukon began to play with other canines in Caitie's house, was very trusting, and wanted a hug. His mange healed, he gained some strength, and healthy furs began to grow.
Moving from homelessness to Caitie's care, socializing with other pups, and he's recovered quickly, and he's now in good health. Wait till you see how awesome Yukon looks.
