A hilarious spoof video of a cat taking the role of the Tyrannosaurus Rex in ‘Jurassic Park’ is going viral. It has been seen by millions of people worldwide, making it nearly as popular as the film itself during its opening.
To say ‘Jurassic Park’ was a hit would be a massive understatement. The action science-fiction film was directed by Steven Spielberg and released in 1993, almost 30 years ago.
The movie’s visual effects were groundbreaking, and audiences worldwide just could not get enough of the realistic dinosaurs featured in the film. It became the first film in history to gross more than one billion dollars at the box office.
In one of the most memorable scenes of the movie, a power shortage occurs at the park, leading to the escape of the dangerous Tyrannosaurus Rex. In this scene, the carnivore starts attacking innocent onlookers stuck in their cars close to the cage.
It is this scene that has been reanimated to now include the famous Owl Kitty. The dinosaur was digitally replaced with a massive house cat that prowls between the panicked onlookers.
The scene is super realistic and almost as if Steven Spielberg created the spoof himself. It replaced the fear and terror from the first movie with curiosity and laughter, and audiences love every second.
One elated viewer commented online: ‘Oh wow, I haven’t laughed so contently in a long time! It is brilliant. What a perfect movie to spoof with Owl Kitty.’ The cat’s name is, in fact, Lizzy, but it now has Owl Kitty for a stage name online. Audiences love Owl Kitty, and you can expect to see a lot more after this massive hit video.
