The first act to hit the stage on America's Got Talent second quarterfinals episode was singing trio t.3. The question is, did they hit hard enough?
If the judges' reaction is any indication, the answer is probably, sadly, no. But of course, America gets to vote.
The group followed up their spectacular performance of Idina Manzel's "Into the Unknown" from the film "Frozen" with a version of a song called "Good 4 U," about exes moving on and moving on easily.
The trio hit the stage with the energy and harmony to get the audience clapping along.
And the judges?

At first, their reaction seemed to be positive.
"We've seen boy bands, but your harmony was seamless," said Howie Mandell.
Heidi Klum's reaction was less positive.
"I've got to be honest, I prefer you guys a cappella," said Heidi Klum. "I feel like you're better than this."
And Sophia Vergara?
"I felt like it's something I shouldn't like, but suddenly, I love it. I enjoy it," she said.
Which brings us around to Simon Cowell.
That didn't go well.
"I'm completely in agreement with Heidi. You could have had a fantastic moment with just the vocals. And I think you blew it," he said.
The bad took the criticism well, and hopefully.
"We want to win and sing in front of as many people as possible." said one of the singers. He plead with the audience to bring the votes and send them on to the next round.
"We'll do a cappella!" one of the singers added as they were played off the stage.
If the studio audience's reactions to the criticism of the group is any indication, the group may have a chance: they booed Simon when he said the song the group chose was terrible.
Whether they blew the opportunity, as Simon says, we will found out soon—but not soon enough.
