Take a Mind-Blowing Slow-Motion Drive Down the Streets of New York

A man in a leopard print jacket walks across a street with a red bag, under a "One Way" sign.

Youtuber Glen Makes travels the streets of New York City, capturing the citizens with his slow-motion camera. The result is a strange vision of people frozen in time.

When you capture something with a high frame rate video and then play it back at a normal speed, the result is a slow-motion film that transforms even everyday scenes into something otherworldly.

Glem Makes took this video with his 960 frames-per-second camera. When you play it back at 24 frames per second, the rate of normal film, you see a world frozen in time.
