Teo Jordan, an 18-year-old grocery worker at a Kroger in Covington, Kentucky, was bagging groceries for a senior man when he heard a conversation between the customer and the cashier.

In a sad turn of events, the cashier explained to the senior man that he would have to put some of the things back as he did not have enough money to pay.

The high school senior, Teo, at that moment only had one thought running through his head. He would give the senior man the remaining $35, so he could have his food.

Even though Teo had been working at Kroger for the last few weeks towards his own goal, to obtain a car, his kind heart still wanted to help the man.

For Teo, it was simple “Just do something helpful for people.” The high school senior has said that people should treat others the same way they would in turn like to be treated.

The teen Kroger worker was not looking for praise in that split-second decision. He just wanted to do something helpful for someone and let him know that God was there for him.

This act of kindness by Teo was praised at his place of worker. His mother, Stephanie, is proud of her son’s actions and is overwhelmed with joy to help the man have a few more meals.
