Texas Couple Shares Home With Two Wild Bobcats

Having a family pet can bring joy to just about any home. Mick and Melissa McAllister from Texas have owned dogs, cats, lizards, and now are welcoming their home to two adorable bobcats.

These precious felines can be found throughout the forests, deserts, and swamps across North America. They’re relatively elusive when in the wild and aren’t known for being incredibly social creatures.

Gypsy and Monaco love living at home with Mick and Melissa. They’re about twice the size of a domestic house cat, and have unique tufted ears, bobbed tails, and massive paws. The McAllister’s aren’t shy to talk about the injuries that come with owning a bobcat.

Gypsy and Monaco are even potty trained and don’t scratch up the furniture, walls, or carpet around the home. They’ve put a lot of work in to make sure the cats are comfortable and respect their surroundings while giving them a loving home.
