It’s not as humans, but animals love music. We often think the humans are so separate to animals, but the truth is that we are a great ape. We are smart animals to be sure, but we are not so separate from the other animals in the animal kingdom.
If you need a reminder of this in this video is perfect. An elephant habitat in Thailand, called Elephant Stay, Paul Barton decided to play some piano music fee elephants to see how they would react.
Peter the elephant was enthralled by the music. He never heard a sound like this before. Initially cautious, he walked right up to the piano and started playing for himself. This video really highlights that animals can enjoy music just as much as us.
