On October 9th, 1993, country star and ‘American Idol’ winner Scotty McCreery was born. Scotty rose to fame after winning the tenth season of the hit reality show ‘American Idol.’ Can you name any of Scotty’s hit songs?

Scott had early success when his 2011 debut album ‘Clear as Day’ was released when he was 18 years old. The season 10 ‘Idol’ winner took the country music scene by storm with his platinum-selling release.

‘Clear as Day’ spawned two Top 20 country songs, including ‘I Love You This Big’ and ‘The Trouble with Girls.’ He followed up that success with a Christmas album titled ‘Christmas with Scotty McCreery.’

Scotty also did something no other country artist has ever done in music history. He charted with his successful 2017 single ‘Five More Minutes’ without the backing of a record label.

His third album ‘See You Tonight’ debuted in 2013, and its title track became Scotty’s first Top 10 single. He followed it with the 2018 release ‘Seasons Change,’ which became his fourth Top 10 album release.

His highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 was his ‘American Idol’ coronation song, ‘I Love You This Big.’ The single peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 14 on the Hot Country Songs Chart.

Scotty continues to release hit music, and in 2021 he recorded his 5th studio album ‘Same Truck.’ Scotty has used his reality TV success to become an accomplished male voice in country music.
