The Mesmerizing Process Of Melting Down 300 Aluminum Cans

Using a home-built kiln, ArtByAdrock melts 300 aluminum cans in his backyard. Learn the process of this ultimate home recycling technique.

The first step, naturally, is to assemble all the used cans and tin foil you have lying around the house. In our home, that’s quite a task in itself, but in the end, Youtuber ArtbyAdrock had about 300 cans in his stash ready for melting.

Then he heated up the kiln. It seemed that his setup used a modified propane tank he had sliced in have, and a small crucible he placed his cans into. Once a dozen or so cans were melted, he scooped off the slag and then poured the molten metal into molds.
