The U.S. Army Band performs ‘Sweet Child o’ Mine’

Martha Krabill-The U.S. Army Band

Martha Krabill sings as lead vocalist for the U.S. Army Band ‘Downrange.’ Their performance of Guns N’ Roses’ ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ was dedicated to all the mothers out there.

It was a special’s Mother’s Day gift from Martha, who had retired to become a full-time mom for her child, Reign. The song begins with Martha singing on her own.

Her voice is phenomenal, and she could easily sing the entire cover on her own. Martha closes her eyes and allows all her emotions to fill her and guide her through the performance.

As soon as she finishes the first few lines of the first verse, the instrumentalists start playing with her. It is a more calming version of the famous rock song.

Martha smiles as she sings, and the acoustic guitar matches her voice perfectly. A male vocalist joins her to provide great backup vocals. Together they all create wonderful music.

All of the band members are wearing their military fatigues, and they look great as they perform. Each person does a great job of playing their instrument.

There is nothing in the world that can match the unconditional love a mother has for her child. The song was the perfect choice for this dedication. Martha and the band end their performance with smiles on their faces.
