The world taekwondo demonstration team performs jaw-dropping at the famous “America’s Got Talent,” also known as “AGT.” This year’s judges, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara, were utterly taken aback by the taekwondo team’s incredible performance.
Once introduced by the host, Terry Crews, and on the stage, the crew got into position to begin their performance routine. The team started with some basic moves that any prospective participant hoping to be in the martial arts community would be familiar with. Then they glided into the backflips and all the other miniature taekwondo jargons.
While watching this routine, you will agree with me that the tricking (flips and stunts) involved in the pattern used here is simply amazing. You can tell from the priceless expressions on the judges’ faces as they take in the performance of this taekwondo team.
After the intro aspect of their execution, they proceeded to what I call “Destruction of the boards.” An exciting part of this performance is how the team members could move in tune with the music’s beat.
The taekwondo team showcased their sense of discipline when they blindfolded some performers. With the help of a bell, an instructor directed them on where to go and how to move. A section that catches the eye is when one of them got blindfolded and could still break a board placed above him twice his height.
The performance of the world taekwondo demonstration team left everyone, especially the judges, astonished. It gave the audience good entertainment with its flips and tricks, gave the judges a good show, and gave the performers a chance to showcase their exceptional talent.
The team ended their performance in an unthinkable but unforgettable way. They ended it spelling out the motivation and drive that has kept them going this long. “Goodwill, Cooperation and Service.” These three words being the fuel that has kept this train of martial artists on the go.
