During an episode of The Voice Kids, Patrizia, 12, and Simon, 11, stunned everyone with their expert and moving rendition of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.
This video features three supremely gifted kids hitting extremely difficult notes with expertise and ease. They are truly little stars in the making.
Few can sing this song with such grace. Fewer children can sing it even still. From the moment the music started, it was obvious these young people could give any veteran singing star a run for their money.
Their song choice was ambitious. While many cover it, few can sing it like it was really meant to be. But within moments, as the music picks up, you can feel the power these kids bring to a classic like this one. The emotion is palpable with every note they hit.
The way they execute this song is sheer brilliance. The boy starts off and you can tell from the get-go that this is going to be one heck of a song. Then the girls join and bring it to another level entirely to create an amazing auditory spectacle if there ever was one.
