This Couple Decided To Spend Their Retirement Looking After Abused Horses!

Larry and Peggy Neaves had made plans to travel the world and see the sights when they retired. But when it came to actually doing it they found that they wanted to do something a bit more meaningful than wandering the globe.

Instead of jet setting they decided that they would dedicate their time to caring for horses. They built a sanctuary and called it Habitat for Horses.

Before they retired Peggy was a US customs inspector and Larry was an FBI agent. When they retired they decided the most rewarding thing they could do with their lives was to care for horses that had been abused by past owners.
