A Music Video Set to Pulsar Electromagnetic Beams – A Celestial Beat of the Universe
Pulsars are described as the most precise “clocks” in the known universe. They are highly magnetized rotating neutron stars. Like a lighthouse, when these stellar phenomena is pointing to the earth, their regular pulsating magnetic beams can be picked up as a perfectly timed beat. Many of these are pulsating at intervals measured in milliseconds.
As these pulses are so perfectly timed and regular, they can act as the best timekeeping astronomical instruments. They are also used for GPS-like orientation in the vast unknown and unmapped space. Like sound, each has its own “strength”/”frequency,” duration and interval; therefore it is possible to convert these beats into audible sound, to enable one to listen to this interstellar beat.

The creators of this video used this unique phenomenon and combined the sounds of 10 pulsars in sequence with a bit of electronic medley mix, creating an instant beat-box, with a natural extraterrestrial sound to it.
The captions are in Russian, but now that you know what it is all about and what amazing celestial effect is creating the unique beat, sit back, and enjoy the surreal pulsating rhythm of the universe.
