Thoroughly Spoiled Pet Squirrel Becomes Employee of the Month

A squirrel holds a "January Employee of the Month" sign, seemingly proud and smiling.

Jill is a 9-year-old adorable squirrel who was earlier rescued from Hurricane Isaac. During the storm in Louisiana, the baby squirrel was only 4-weeks-old when she had fallen out of her nest.

The little one was found by her current owners. She was supposed to stay temporarily with the family but somehow stayed with them forever. Jill is now a permanent family member, and her loved ones never cage her.

Jill follows her owner everywhere and is a pampered pet. But, when the squirrel gets hungry, she has learned to follow her mom. As soon as the fridge door opens, she walks into the fridge and stands inside it, asking for breakfast.

So, Jill's mom decided to improvise. She created a food bell for her loved pet. Whenever Jill was hungry, she would ring the bell telling her mom that she was hungry.

However, the squirrel couldn't hide her fascination for the Dunkin Donuts coffee straw that she so desperately wanted. The cute squirrel even went to work in her mom's hoodie and liked to surf the internet.

Jill's mom pampered her with comb massages, which relaxed the little squirrel after her tiring day. Sometimes, the squirrel's mom even helped her pet relax by giving her a finger massage, making the squirrel feel asleep instantly.

After the massage was done, Jill's mom got her to bed. The way Jill slept in her mom's arm beside her teddy bear showed how much Jill loved and trusted her. The Hurricane Isaac rescue was lucky to have found her forever home during the darkest time of her life.
