Three girl elephants form a little family of their own after being rescued

It is no secret that tourism is one of the main contributors to the mistreatment of elephants. Fortunately, there are elephants like Kabu, Chana and Ploythong who can find the happy endings they deserve.

Elephants

Before arriving at the Elephant Nature Park in Northern Thailand, Kabu, Chana and Ploythong lived as working elephants. And all three of them experienced pain as a result of their labor.

Kabu dislocated her knee as a baby; Chana broke her leg under unknown circumstances; Ploythong had been blind for years. All the kind-hearted elephants had suffered for a long time.

Fortunately, their suffering ended when they arrived at Elephant Nature Park. Now that they were at their new home, the three elephants would never have to work another day for the rest of their lives.

But their new home provided more than an escape from labor. It also gave them a family. Within a short period of time, the elephants learned to trust and love one another.

Chana became a “guide elephant” for her blind companion, Ploythong. And while Kabu might get jealous from time to time, she loves being near her companions every chance she gets.

After lives filled with hardships and pain, all three of these elephants found the family and home they had always needed. Watch these adorable elephants find new joy in their park paradise.
