Eating the seeds also strengthens the immune system. The reason for this is because avocados are rich in flavonol, and this is what prevents common colds and flu. It contains elevated levels of catechins and procyanidins, which are powerful anti-inflammatories. This is why they are great in the treatment of swellings but can also help with joint pain and stiffness. Another very favorable benefit they have is their powerful anti-cancer properties. The peer-reviewed journal Cancer Research published a study. It showed that the avocado seed extract contains a compound known as “Avocatin B.” It prevents acute myeloid leukemia cells.

Besides these already awesome properties, avocado seeds are also great for people who are trying to lose weight. Among other things, avocado seeds can prevent epilepsy, regulate thyroid disorder, aid in the production of collagen, are good for treating diarrhea and fatigue, cure blemishes, and can be used to relax muscles when it is applied topically.
