Simon Cowell Moved To Tears by Father and Son Golden Buzzer Performance

Tim and Jack Goodacre are a father and son duo that appeared on “Britain’s Got Talent” during the audition season of 2018. Tim and Jack are, respectively 43 and 12 years old.

That is a normal age-gap between father and son but the impressive part about the two is how remarkably synchronized they are when it comes to their music. They have an original style that simply cannot be found anywhere else.

Before they begin their performance of their originally written song “The Lucky Ones”, they are interviewed by the judges which they answer to in really funny and quirky ways. The crowd bursts into natural laughter every so often throughout the exchange between the judges and our father-son duo.

The father goes on to explain why it is that they co-wrote the song together. He says “We’ve all had family losses and things like that, and as a father and son… it’s about us.” and after that, the son, Jack, continued that train of thought with “It’s about how lucky we are to have what we have.”

This is a display to the audience and viewers at home, of their true characters. These little interactions between the judges, the two contestants and the interactions between the contestants themselves, paint us a much larger picture about who they are as artists.

When that is done with, they begin their performance of their originally written song, they play their guitars together as the dad takes charge by opening the song with his charismatic voice. Not too long until Jack chimes in and sings alongside his father while they both play their guitars.

When their performance reached an end, the audience exploded in cheers. It was the moment for the judges to begin their review of the phenomenal performance they had just witnessed. They all give their feedback, it all seems quite average, up until Simon Cowell, one of the judges hits the golden buzzer!
