Cher had her own CBS variety show called ‘The Cher Show,’ which premiered in 1975. She welcomed famous guests on the show, including Elton John, Bette Midler, and Flip Wilson. This performance features Cher, Tina Turner, and Kate Smith.

At the beginning of the medley, there is a sign that says ‘The Beatles,’ and it rises up out of frame to show a colorful stage with a rainbow in the background. The band of musicians are all dressed in colorful marching band-type clothing in colors of red, green, and blue, like Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Band.
By the rainbow backdrop, there are cartoon drawings of the four Beatles’ faces to honor them. Cher walks on stage in a shiny, shimmering silver suit with a flowing, long skirt, and her straight black hair flows with her dances.

Cher sings a short verse, and Tina walks on stage and sings the second verse in an outfit similar to Cher’s look. Then, Kate Smith walks out in a shiny, silver long dress with puffy sleeve cuffs and sings the intro to the chorus of the Beatles’ classic ‘Help.’
They all sing the rest of the song in unison. The girls sing and sway to the medley of tunes, including ‘All You Need is Love,’ ‘Day Tripper,’ ‘Here Comes the Sun,’ ‘Let it Be,’ ‘I Want to Hold Your Hand,’ and ‘We Can Work it Out.’

Then, comedian Tim Conway appears in an all-white tuxedo playing the part of the ‘World’s Oldest Man’ made famous on ‘The Carol Burnett Show.’ He mutters some words to the melody of ‘When I’m Sixty-four,’ and the audience laughs.
After the trio of women sings ‘All The Lonely People,’ Tim Conway reappears in a crazy yellow outfit shaped like a submarine for the hit ‘Yellow Submarine.’ The last song is ‘Hey Jude,’ and the girls sing as the band surrounds them in a circle for a huge finale to an epic medley of hits from ‘The Beatles.’
