Most of you may find it a little bit odd to see a pony and several dogs staying together in the same house. However, to Luna’s mom, Sue, this was absolutely normal.
Luna was rejected by her mother immediately after she was born. However, after consulting an equine vet, Sue decided to bring her home. This was important as keeping her with her mother would prove to be dangerous for the pony.
Sue taught her how to stand and also used to feed her milk with a bottle. Sue’s house where Luna was brought to stay was full of dogs. Nonetheless, this did not have any adverse effect on her. Soon she started considering herself as one of her canine friends.
Luna would sleep on the different dog beds with her dog friends. The dogs were also quite tolerant towards her. The pony grew quite close to Cooper, who was a Golden Retriever. The two would spend long hours playing and chasing each other.
Soon after Luna grew up in size, she was shifted to the barn where the family had another rescued mini horse. The two soon bonded with each other. However, every time Cooper went to the barn, Luna would forget her horse friends and play with him instead.
Even after growing up, Luna loved to give hugs to her mom as she used to when she was small. As a result, Sue always had a special feeling for Luna and loved her a lot.
Sue was glad that she rescued Luna in time from her mother. It gave her the chance to have this strange but loving family of furballs.
