I started practicing the drums since I was around 12 years old, and I was pretty proud of my skills. That is until I saw the incredible little girl in this video. This little lady is going to leave you in complete shock at what she can do with a pair of drum sticks. When I watch her, I just can’t imagine the time it must have taken her to develop this skill.
Eduarda Henklein Baterista is only six years old, but this Brazilian rocker has already started taking the world by storm. Many people even called her a percussion prodigy after watching this viral video.
In this clip, Eduarda plays “Chop Suey” by System Of A Down. She performed this when she was just five years old. And what’s more, she had only been playing the drums for a year at the time it was recorded.
I can’t believe how on point she is, and as she played, I started thinking about how much physical strength it must require of her to play this song. It’s amazing to me that a five-year-old could even have the strength to do it, but not only does she play the drums, but she also plays them well. Watch this amazing little girl in the video below.
