This Version of 'Tomorrow' by Jimmie Herrod Is Even Better Than What He Performed on AGT

A man in a suit sings passionately into a microphone on stage.

Pink Martini and Jimmie Herrod gave a sterling performance of the song 'tomorrow' on SF JAZZ. As a natural singer, his voice flowed melodiously. A brilliant musical finesse!

He began singing 'tomorrow' with a low pitch. The pianist followed it up with a few chords as they synchronized together in a good rhythm. Jimmie maintained his pitch and continued the lyrics with increasing energy.

In the second verse of the song, his pitch got higher. From the lyrics, it seemed like he was literally stuck in a day. His voice rose higher as he sang the last line of the third verse.

‘Tomorrow’ by Jimmie Herrod

With much strength, he sang 'oh'! There was a sudden diminuendo as he sang the third verse. He voiced the chorus 'tomorrow, tomorrow' with a bright smile like he was expecting a gift from it.

Even though tomorrow is always a day away. At this point, the violinist joined them. Playing his strings smoothly, at the same time harmonizing with Jimmie and the pianist. They were brilliant!

The drummer and the trumpeters played their instruments beautifully. They were all in tune. The flow and harmony were a masterclass. Jimmie, singing with all his breath, ended on a high note. The audience wooed him with much joy.

'Tomorrow' was also recorded by Alicia Morton. It has been recorded in some Annie movies. Stars like Andrea McArdle in Annie (1977), Aileen Quinn, and Albert Finney have recorded the song.
