I have seen some very wild videos before, but this one, I don’t even know how to start explaining it. I’ll start by saying that it’s a choreography. What do you think of when you hear this word? In my case, I think of theater. The theater has plays and all of them are choreographed, right? But really, any type of performance that has been arranged in a certain way is a choreography.
The first choreographies that I saw were in school. I was very big on sports back then, so I got to see a lot of cheerleaders performing awesome dances and … choreographies. I always thought that cheerleading was this easy thing that almost anyone could do. I mean, the girls are very thin, right? I would soon find out it wasn’t the case.
One day, our school entered this competition where students needed to do this gymnastics-looking moves. I honestly didn’t find it like something I wanted to do, but since they were letting the participants skip a few classes every other day, I felt like I could use some time off school. Some of my friends did as well and we ended up having a blast.
I was in middle school back then and was not strong at all. Some of the moves required you to almost lift another person with your bare arms. This is when I found out that those moves were not easy at all. I mean, it wasn’t anything like cheerleading, but some of the moves required a lot of strength which I didn’t have. Fortunately, my best friend was a very thin and short.
Some of my friends wanted to switch partners, but of course, I didn’t want to. I learned to do many things like to do a handstand (it’s not that hard actually) and to walk on two hands. When I did those things back in my neighborhood, all my friends would say that it was hard for them. They would try it and fail. I felt very good about it and learned valuable lessons.
Well, the people in the next video will do a choreography that I am sure you have not seen before. They are dressed as toy soldiers, and the name of the act is ‘Toy Soldiers’ not surprisingly. They move with such precision that will blow your socks off and make you wonder how they are doing it. So, without further ado, I give you Toy Soldiers!
