Travis Tritt And Patty Loveless Pay Homage To Conway And Loretta With Breathtaking Cover

Travis Tritt and Patty Loveless made musical magic when they covered Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn’s signature song, “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man” on live television. We can’t think of a more fitting tribute to pay to two of country music’s most iconic artists.

It’s plain to see from the performers that they were having a ton of fun, and their energy comes through in the music. The crowd was more than pleased with Tritt and Loveless, and we’re sure that Conway and Loretta would have been dancing along as well- we know we were!

“Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man” was released by Twitty and Lynn in 1973 as the first single from their duet album, Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man. This song marked their third #1 number on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Definitely not the last!

Travis Tritt and Patty Loveless have been singing together for years, and have released dozens of duets in that time. But we think this is our favorite!
