Trying to be friends with scraggly boy chipmunk

Chipmunks or squirrels are from the rodent family. There are around 23 species of chipmunks that are available in the world. Chipmunk’s diet includes an omnivorous diet such as nuts, seeds & fruits.

Chipmunks serve a critical function for the ecosystem. For example, they play a significant role in the dispersal of seeds all over the forests. Thus, they balance the ecosystem as they distribute the seeds in some way or the other.

These bushy-tailed cute-looking chipmunks are tiny in size and dwell underground in burrows, and are known for their liking for nuts. They are fond of many other fruits, but nuts seem to be their favorite.

The mating season for chipmunks is from the month March- April & July-August every year. An unknown male chipmunk is seen roaming around in the garden of a family. He is new to the area, so he is trying to understand the surroundings.

So, the garden owner decides to befriend the cute-looking naughty chipmunks who have been roaming all around in the family’s garden for some time. He thinks of an effortless way to attract the attention of the little being.

The owner tries to feed the little squirrel food, a seed. This trick worked, and the squirrel became friendly with the owner. The owner then tries feeding the little one once again, but this time he decides to keep the seeds in his palm.

Later, the squirrel has been given an apple to eat and enjoys munching on the crispy and sweet fruit. He takes time to finish the whole fruit and loves to chew on it.
