A turtle has become an internet star thanks to a viral video in which it is seen (and heard) eating a piece of red dragon fruit.
While someone offscreen holds a tiny microphone near the little guy’s head, the turtle couldn’t care less as it enjoys its gourmet meal.
The video was uploaded to a Youtube channel called Animal ASMR which has a whopping 917K subscribers, with this video getting close to 8 million views!
The channel is known for featuring various animals eating their favorite foods while a tiny microphone records every bite. While the turtle seems to be the most popular animal, they also have videos of an iguana, a guinea pig, a snail, and a hamster.
Although the guinea pig seems to be vying for first place seeing as how they have created a separate channel for the guinea pig.
While it does have only 32k subscribers, compared to the main channel’s 917K, the videos on this exclusive channel still get hundreds of thousands of views.
For fans of ASMR, this video is a must-watch, as are all the others on the two channels. There seems to be something very fascinating about how animals sound when they eat. Here’s hoping this turtle is prepared for a long and illustrious career as an internet superstar.
