Their specialty is American bluegrass, and there’s a touch of that in this song as well. Their sense of humor is truly a joy to listen to! You will laugh till you cry when you hear this duet!
In this clip, they sing a funny song explaining why Santa will not be visiting their house this year, or ever again. One has banjo and one has a guitar, and as they play, they explain that they gave a gift that keeps on giving when Santa and his reindeer came to visit. Whether they are naughty or nice doesn’t matter, they scared Santa away forever! Wait till you hear this!
I am from the great state of Kentucky, where these men are from, but I must admit, I have never heard a Christmas song like this! I have never had the pleasure of meeting these two men who call themselves The Moron Brothers. But they sure know how to play a banjo, and write some funny lyrics. He says Santa got tired and laid down on the couch, and then he jumped up and ran out and started to scratch! Why? Lice!
Poor Santa won’t come back to their house again! He had to shave off his hair and his beard! But he agreed to drop the presents on the porch next time. I don’t know how these two men can get through the whole song with a straight face.
