When telling a joke, it's all about the delivery. But what happens when you can't get it right, forget the actual pun, and halfway realize that you may have screwed it up?
This is what happened to a father and daughter duo trying to tell a farming joke on video. Sometimes being a comedian isn't as easy as it seems, especially when you’re on the spot.
The video, 'The Best Farm Joke Ever,' starts with the daughter stating, "Oh, this is one of my dad's favorite jokes!" By the end of the set-up, the dad is already laughing uncontrollably.
As the father turns red from laughter, the giggling daughter asks, "You wanna tell it?" So, he takes a crack at it and continues what she started only to mumble a few words.
Between bouts of laughter, he ends up saying, "I forget the next part." By this point, the only thing that we know about the joke is the set-up and nothing else.
"So, a guy walks in with a pig under his arms, looks at the wife, and says this is the pig I was telling you about; the wife looks at him and says..." she seems to be fine until she looks confused, and her father interrupts her again, claiming that the joke doesn't go that way.
The father, starting again, reaches the same point and says that he has forgotten how it goes, to which the daughter exclaims, "Oh no! It was a duck under his arms. Oh shoot, we ruined it." With this farming duo, the delivery was funnier than the joke itself, many commenting that their laughter was hilarious.
