Lions fighting over meals is not an uncommon sight. It's prevalent in the lion's kingdom. However, it's a curious phenomenon when two lion friends fight over the last piece of meat.

Lions are known to always want more, even after eating to their fill. They eat first before the females. Sometimes they fight over meals with other members in their pride.

According to the owners of GG Conservation Lions, Tonga and Alex are two male lions that had both already eaten. Probably being guilty or something innate to lions, they still had to battle over the last meat.

Two lion friends fighting over meals? Now, that's a curious case. Tonga is known for its stamina while Alex has brawn. Each lion wanted to possess the other in the fight and establish authority.

But it wasn't easy to do. Known for their power and might, no lion ever gives up possession so easily without a fight. So they took to the stage and fought it out.

The scenario further reinforces the fact that there are no friends in the lion's world, only enemies. It's usually the battle of the fittest.

Although Tonga is smaller in size, the lion is older than Alex at 17 years old. Alex is more prominent, younger, and is always hungry. They fought from around three hours before Alex finally conceded to Tonga.
