We are often told in our society that “ugly” things don’t fit in. We are told that it is far better to reject things that are ugly and pass them up.
For animals in shelters, this way of thinking can have serious consequences. When a shelter decides that an animal is too “ugly” or not fit for adoption, then they have no other choice than to put the animal down.
Thankfully, when this dog was deemed too ugly, an organization called Sidewalk Special Rescue stepped in and disagreed.
In this incredible video, watch the transition of this dog going from being condemned in a shelter with no hope of adoption to finally being free and surrounded by people who truly love him the way that he should be.
