If you don’t know by now, cat lovers look forward to the next Temptations cat treats ad like a dog looking forward to his next meal, or a kid looking forward to Santa Claus, or a teenager looking forward to legal age, or a UFO enthusiast looking forward to getting kidnapped by aliens.
These ads are really that good, and this one is no exception. The song is Elton John’s Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word. Probably a cover – I don’t a knight like Sir Elton is allowed to sing for cats any longer.
I can’t believe how miserable these cats look in their costumes. I have no idea that cats can get this sad, and the costumes made it much worse! They ought to ban cat costumes. Hopefully they’ll look into it, now that we have a new President.
The thing about Temptations ads is that they can make even those who are not crazy about cats start to like them. I know because I let my dog look at this ad on a full screen and he started whining like he wants to play with the cats and cheer them up. It was so sweet that I felt my heart melting. That way quite an experience, it made my day for sure.
The other cool thing about these ads is that the endings are unpredictable. The ending is not like the one for dogs. There are always happy endings with dogs. The owner comes home and the dog goes nuts.
