Uncle Si Finally Tells Fans Why His Wife Of 45 Years Won’t Appear On Duck Dynasty.

Duck Dynasty’s Uncle Si has let his romantic life be a bit of a mystery for show watchers. While everyone else in the Robertson family shows up with their significant other, Si seems to be flying solo.

Appearances can certainly be deceiving. Not only is Uncle Si attached, he’s been happily married for nearly fifty years! He and his wife, whom he lovingly calls “Miss Christine”, were married in 1971.

Uncle Si spoke to ABC News not long ago, and revealed quite a lot about his mystery relationship. “I asked this woman to marry me at least 100 times. She finally said yes and hey, that’s the end of that story,” he says.

As to her lack of presence on the show, Si went to Us Weekly to divulge a bit of information. According to the interview, he claims Miss Christine has “better sense” than to appear on Duck Dynasty.

As any fan of the show, we have wondered why the woman who keeps Si in check is not featured!According to an interview in Us Weekly, Si reveals that Miss Christine has a “better sense” than his whole family for choosing not to appear on Duck Dynasty.

“Sometimes we film 12 hours a day,” Si reveals. “And she’s just not healthy enough to go through the rigors of that. But, ah, it ain’t no big deal. She wants no part of it anyway. She’s been married to me for 45 years. The last thing she needs is to watch us on a TV show.”

It’s definitely not because he doesn’t want her around, though. As a special 43rd wedding anniversary present to Miss Christine, Si recorded a whole album of love songs dedicated to his wife.
