Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Wows Ellen With Jaw Dropping Rendition of Faith

Ventriloquist Darci Lynne, former AGT winner, returned to Ellen to perform the song that launched her into stardom - Faith by Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande. But she wasn’t alone. The performance was actually a duet of sorts with her new puppet, Ivan “with an eye”.

The performance was spot on, with Darci effortlessly switching between voices and even doing a quick back and forth with the puppet at one point during the song. Her movements were also in sync with the music, giving the puppet its own body language and personality.

Darci got her big break at the age of 12 when she won America’s Got Talent with this very performance. She stunned the judges with her incredible singing voice that stayed strong even when she was singing for the puppet.

In her conversation with Ellen, she reminisces about the night she won AGT - about how she still remembers it very well and going to bed that night thinking that her life had changed forever.

When asked about the $1 million dollar prize, Darci said she used it to buy her mom a dishwasher and other appliances to make her life a little easier.

She also got herself a dog, which she named “Jar Binks” after the famous Star Wars character, and who is terrified of her puppets, bolting away at first sight of them.

Ellen even suggested that Darci could use her dog as a puppet, and Darci said she had actually thought about it and for some reason, her dog would have a British accent.
