The vast majority of pet owners are forced to leave their pet home alone during the week while they go off to work. Sometimes you can come home to incredible scenes where the pets have made giant messes while they were so stressed due to separation anxiety.
The woman in this video wanted to find out what her pets were doing while she was away at work, and learn what she might do to reduce the separation anxiety. So she rigged up security cameras to check on the behavior of her dog while she was away.
When they played back the footage they couldn’t help but be heartbroken. Their dog Max cries and mopes around the house all day long waiting for his parents to return. With the help of Dr. Emily Blackwell from University of Bristol, they introduced toys and other techniques to reduce the stress and anxiety experienced by this poor dog.
