“My daughter and I drove home by ourselves after Christmas with family,” Alex wrote on Reddit. “We put together our own Christmas medley on the way. When we got home, she wanted to film it. I love her laugh.” We do too! Her laugh is inspirational and will make you laugh too.
The resulting video is exactly one minute of pure holiday gold that we just had to share with you. If these two seem like seasoned professionals to you, you would be right. Jade and Alex are no strangers to performing on camera, with a previous clip of them lip syncing to “Love Is an Open Door” receiving close to a million views on their Youtube channel about a year ago.
By giving lyrics to Christmas classics an original spin, the pair has created a medley so special I’m sure they will cherish it as Jade grows up. This reminds me a bit of Chris Price and his daughter singing “Let It Go” from Frozen! Their lyrics seem to really amuse Jade who starts laughing so hard she can’t continue.
I especially love the words they made up for the first song they sing. I’m not going to give anything away, but I think it is safe to say they both think Santa should go on a diet. I think it is great that the two of them get to spend some quality time together having fun and making memories that I’m sure neither of them will ever forget.
