Like most of the apes, orangutans are known for the motherly love they show towards their children. For 4-5 years, baby orangutans stay close to their mothers. Maybe it is also the reason why orangutans are very lovable towards younger ones. But do you know how they react among other animal’s baby?
When this orangutan from a zoo saw zookeepers taking care of tiny tiger cubs, she wanted to do the same. So, zookeepers allowed some of the cubs to be near this orangutan. And from that day, she always fed these cubs, took care of them as her own and even played with them every day. Isn’t that interesting?
