This is a video that starts off slow, but keep with it and see what happens when this deaf pit bull finds his father coming home. His father is a soldier that is returning home for the first time in a very long time, and the dog is beyond excited.
For a while, he sits at the door with his head inside the curtain as he waits, knowing that something is going on. All of a sudden, you see a change in the dog’s body language. His ears perk up, his tail begins to wag ferociously and the dog starts to become very excited.
But that is nothing compared to what happens when the dog is able to see his father walking up the steps and entering the front door. It’s a good reminder that when people are away for a long time, dogs do not forget them. They wait for them, they miss them and they feel the same kind of happy excitement that we all feel when we see someone we love for the first time in a long time.
