Benedikt Köstler might not look like he belongs in the 70s with his untucked dress shirt and skinny jeans, but he sure sounds the part. Just close your eyes and it could be “The King” himself singing on stage.
As Köstler’s deep, sultry tone tackles Elvis’ hit single “Always On My Mind,” the judges can hardly contain their amazement. Amidst suspicious side-eyes, one judge finally takes a leap of faith and turns his chair.
When all is said and done, Köstler has a total of three judges vying for him to join their team. With talent like that, it’s no wonder this 16-year-old made it to the finale with a jaw-dropping performance you just have to see for yourself.
