Horses played a major role in our life in the past. But as time passed, the demand of cars slowly replaced them. They were substituted, but they have not been forgotten. Most people might think that horses are not as suitable for an urban environment as they used to be back in the days, but Malik Divers from Philadelphia is not one of those people.
Malik started a small stable 10 years ago and this has made a huge different in not only his life, but of those around him as well. He trains teenagers to ride and keep horses. Divers says that the horses help to keep kids off the streets and they teach them responsibility. Just ask 18 year old Shahir Drayton. Riding has even become an essential form of therapy for this young man and it is not hard to understand why.
