The Carol Burnett Show has gone down in television history for its ridiculously funny skits and memorable characters. This lost episode features two of our favorites, Tim Conway and Harvey Korman, and we can’t help but laugh right along with them.
Listed in 2007 by Time Magazine as one of the “100 Best TV Shows of All Time,” The Carol Burnett Show was an American favorite in the late 1960s and early 70s. With each new episode viewers tuned in religiously to see their favorite actors play out some hilarious scenes, including this sketch featuring two undercover cops.
In this bit, Tim Conway and Harvey Korman act as a casual couple out for a day in the park. However, Conway seems to have gotten the short end of the stick as he’s playing the role of dolled-up housewife.
As the two argue about the specifics of their mission, Korman can barely suppress his giggles as Conway ad-libs his way through a quick makeup check. We’re right there with you, Harvey – this skit is just too funny to not laugh out loud.
