When Bruno the cat gets locked out of his house, he knows how to get his owners to unlock the door for him. What does he do in order to achieve his goal? Ring the bell! Patrick Dougherty, Bruno’s pet daddy, says that he lets them know that he wants in by ringing the doorbell. There is a little shelf under the window, and Bruno hops up on the shelf and rings the bell by rubbing his face up against it.
The most amazing part of this is that he does this only when he knows his parents are not sleeping. According to his parents, he doesn’t go out and get locked out at night. So Patrick and his wife don’t have to worry about the bell going off at midnight. That is one clever cat.
Bruno is a pretty big ginger cat. When his dad lets him in the house after ringing the bell several times, he just waltzes right in and saunters past him like that’s his job. Isn’t that just how cats are?
