When we spend time in the great outdoors, we never consider the plants around us, making sounds. It’s interesting to learn that plants not only create noise but respond to it as well. One woman was able to record what a sunflower sounds like, and it’s nothing like you’d expect.
Anything that makes sound does so at a specific frequency. Humans can’t hear every frequency, which is why you can’t naturally hear the sounds that plants and flowers make. Thanks to specialized scientific equipment, we’re now able to listen to these strange noises.
Through research, it has been discovered that plants can communicate with one another through their roots and even respond to different vibrations. Plants can tell each other when a storm is coming or when a plant is dying. How incredible is that?
Using a special microphone, one woman recorded the sounds the sunflowers in her garden were making. It sounds like something out of a classically trained symphony. Psalm 69:34 says, “Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and everything that moves in them.” You just have to hear this for yourself.
