Emily had just moved into her new home. Much to her surprise, the house was already occupied by 16 feral cats who were living outside. Emily was not sure at first if the cats would want her around. She was, after all, infringing on sacred feral kitty grounds.
Emily did everything she could to get the cats to trust her. She started going outside with the intent of bonding with them. Soon, the cats began to trust her and even sat on her lap as they started to come around.
The former owner of the home had fed the feral felines in an old shed in the backyard. However, it was not exactly the best option for them. It got cold in the winter, and the cats needed a warm place to sleep.
Emily and her family got the idea to fix up the shed and provide their furry friends with a dream feral cat home worthy of them. The cats wanted to know what their dream home would be like, but they had to be patient and let their new family devise the purrfect plan.
It was worth the wait for the cats, as they loved their new dream home filled with cozy blankets and cat trees. The feral cats finally had comfort and protection. Ever since then, the cats have come out to greet her whenever she goes outside.
The proud cat mom loves going to visit her sweet furbabies in their little home, and the once skittish cats are no longer afraid of people.
