A good journey wouldn’t be complete without at least one wild, almost unbelievable story to tell friends back home. Well, the woman in the video below has a story that is sure to drop jaws at her next party.
Francie Lubbe was on a trip to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in Botswana recently, and settled into her tent for night. After an undisturbed evening of sleep she awoke to the sounds of birds waking up, and lions licking her tent. A lot more interesting than your typical alarm clock!
At first, Lubbe couldn’t believe what was happening. The story itself would be hard to believe, had she not been calm enough to grab her camera and peacefully film the whole thing.
Three thirsty lionesses had gathered outside her tent, and were busy licking drops of dew from the cloth. Lubbe watched them from the inside of her tent, keeping quiet while the lionesses quenched their thirst.
