Roswell the cat has always had a special bond with his human dad, who has a beard. Roswell’s human mother is understandably upset that Roswell likes his dad more. They soon come to realize the reason Roswell likes his dad better is because of his burly beard.
When Roswell’s mom gets a fake beard, Roswell can’t come over to snuggle up close fast enough. Dad comes into the room to find Roswell snuggling with Mom. There is a guilty expression on the feline’s face as dad questions, “What’s this?”
The cat once again goes to dad with love in his eyes. Mom wants to make Roswell happy and get some cuddles but to no avail. She asks Roswell, “what’s your problem?” Roswell sits there and meows. That is when mom decides she will do whatever it takes to win back Roswell’s sweet kitty love.
Mom wears dad’s black tank top and a hat to get Roswell’s attention. She is determined to win over Roswell. As soon as mom takes the beard and the hat off, Roswell is disinterested again. They decide to do something together as a family. Roswell, his mom, and his dad are all wearing beards now!
Roswell still chooses his dad over his mom! They cuddle up together and spend quality time with each other. Roswell is happy and satisfied. Everything is the way it was before. Mom is relegated to second best unless she wears the beard!
