Sometimes, it’s awesome to watch something in slow motion. Especially when it’s a video of a photographer hand-feeding a woodpecker.
Nature is a beautiful thing. Especially when you sit back and relax while enjoying the scene unfolding all around you.
But when you watch it in slow motion, you’ll begin to notice the little details that usually happen pretty fast. For Jocelyn Anderson, she managed to capture a woodpecker on camera making his grand appearance.
With the suet in her hand and a camera set up close to her, the male Red-bellied woodpecker flew right into Anderson’s hand and ate the suet that was sitting inside. It was amazing to see it all on camera.
But when you watch it in slow motion, you see the woodpecker’s graceful approach. It is something that you really want to see over and over again.
