This video showcases a horrifying experience that could befall you or your pet. Marian Harris took her dog Syd to the vet and she was told that he was too sick to live because of his worsening health problems. She was advised to euthanize him. The family said their goodbyes.
But as it turns out, Syd wasn’t euthanized after all. He was kept alive in a cage and was used for blood transfusions. What a horrifying situation for a dog that had been in a loving home for so many years. A former staff of the clinic contacted Marian and told her of the situation.
The owner, Millard Lucien Tierce, of Camp Bowie Animal Clinic where Syd was held captive, turned himself in but defended his actions. He said that his arrest was a conspiracy formulated by an employee to get back at him. He said that he couldn’t bring himself to bring down the dog, so he chose to draw his blood instead.
There are no excuses for what this doctor did and he should never be allowed near animals again. If the dog didn’t need to be euthanized, and could be treated, then he should have been. Clearly the doctor lied to benefit himself, with no concern for poor Syd. This man was a highly respected veterinarian since 1966, and this community was rocked by his deception.
