As the holiday season fills our hearts with joy and love, and our bellies with turkey, gravy, stuffing, and mashed potatoes, everyone should stop for a moment to think about those brave Americans who can’t be home for these special moments.
While everyone loves to watch the joy on a soldier’s face when he finally gets to come home to see his loved ones, we must all give thanks to the soldiers who remain behind on the front lines. For every soldier who gets to come home, there are countless more who stay on guard to protect their brothers and sisters.
So when Thanksgiving rolls around, the top brass of our nation’s armed forces always tries to give our soldiers something special to raise up morale. These soldiers who are thousands and thousands of miles away deserve to take their minds off work and remember home, even if it’s just for a moment.
In the video below, you can see all the greetings our nation’s soldiers got to give to their loved ones back home. All of these soldiers, men and women, come from all places and cultures. But while they may be different in some regards, one thing is certain and that is they all deserve to be thanked for their service!
