One man was enjoying the joys of working out at home during quarantine before he was interrupted by his fun-loving golden retriever. As the video shows, the dog simply decided that it was time for the owner to switch things up a bit.
Given that exercises require lots of focus to nail down routines, the dog made a point of ensuring that it did everything to distract the dad from a good workout.
At the beginning of the video, we see the man has accurately laid out all his equipment and is ready to begin his routine. Clearly, he wants to put in a good shift and reap the benefits of working out.
Starting with some planks, he’s all prepped to shred some pound and build muscle before Bailey the dog steps in to halt everything. Assumingly, she tends to believe that the mats are laid out for him to also play in.
Bailey lay across the mat to notify her human that what he was doing wasn’t really that important. Her persistence made it impossible for the owner to progress, and he had to comply and give Bailey a good belly rub.
Weird as it seems, it’s normal for dogs to get all playful. Unlike us, they can’t start lifting weights to get in shape. It is during playtimes that most dogs can get a good workout and learn socialization skills.
